Project container with diagrams, brand, theme, and members
A project is the unit of organization in DocDiagram. Everything that should share branding, conventions, and access lives in the same project.

What a project contains

  • Diagrams — every diagram you generate or save.
  • Brand settings — palette, fonts, and logo (see Themes & branding).
  • Default theme — light, dark, or auto.

When to use multiple projects

  • One product, one project. Most teams need exactly one.
  • Multiple products or brands. Split into one project per product so brand tokens don’t bleed across.
  • Client work. Agencies typically create one project per client.

What’s shared across projects

Your account-level credit balance is shared across every project you own. So is your account-level theme preference for the editor UI itself.

Coming soon

  • Team projects — shared editing across multiple users in your org.
  • Project-level access controls — view-only vs. edit roles.
